23m is a mobile Gourmet Burger van based in Sussex. We cook and serve our seasonal Burgers from our 1975 Citroen H Van.
23m Burger Service is the creation of Nick Miles. Born in Brighton, Nick has worked in Restaurants in Sussex, Italy, Portugal and France.
His love for travel and passion for food has taken him to some of the best restaurants and street food locations in the world.
He has found food inspiration from eating Buffalo Momos in the high Nepalese Himalayas, Patagonian Lamb from the Parillas of Argentina and Reef Fish burgers from the Indian Ocean, He is now based in Haywards Heath in central Sussex and cooks up his gourmet Burgers packed with flavour from the very best local Sussex Ingredients.
WHY 23m ?
The idea came from a small Hotel Bistro that sits at the bottom of Mont Ventoux in France where they sourced all their ingredients from the local farmers and vineyards within 40 km of the hotel.
Sussex is equally abundant with amazing local produce that’s farmed, fished, hunted and brewed by some passionate and dedicated people.
The 23m Burger Service idea was created, a pin placed in a map at our HQ in Haywards Heath and a 23 mile radius drawn around it.
It’s a challenging food concept that creates an exciting way to do local business with local suppliers and deliver local flavours and freshness to our hungry customers…
Oh yes and Nick has two favourite numbers, 74 and 23 and the latter made it more of a challenge.
Our prices vary according to the season and what is readily available.
We aim to make our burgers using 100% of the finest Sussex produce.
We achieve the highest quality and we pay for the best ingredients from suppliers that work to their own high standards.
